Ferrari Pit Stop Practice
Rain hung over Albert Park as I wandered towards the Ferrari garage, hoping to catch a glimpse of the team before the race. Mechanics moved between the cars, the pit lane buzzed with quiet anticipation, and fans waited patiently behind the barriers.
Then, without warning, we were asked to move to the side. No explanation. Just a quick gesture from the Ferrari crew.
Moments later, the garage came alive.
Tyres rolled into position, wheel guns fired up, and Lewis Hamilton's Ferrari was pushed into the pit box. Before we knew it, the crew launched into a series of pit stop practice runs, rehearsing every movement with incredible speed and precision.
Precision in motion.
Standing only metres away, I could feel every wheel gun crack through the pit lane. The mechanics never spoke. They didn’t need to. Every movement was already understood. Watching the rehearsal changed how I watched the race itself. From that moment on, every pit stop felt less like instinct and more like choreography.

A Paddock Moment I'll Never Forget
During the pit lane walks, we were suddenly asked by the teams to move to the side. Assuming they needed the space for another pit stop practice, we stepped back and waited, unaware that something far more unexpected was about to happen.

Moments later, the drivers began making their way back from the drivers’ parade, walking straight past us and towards the garages. One by one, the entire grid passed within metres of where we stood, every single driver from the 2025 season just steps away.
Twenty drivers. One unforgettable moment.
Frozen in shock, I could barely move or even process what was happening. The noise of the paddock seemed to disappear as all of Formula 1’s drivers walked right in front of me. It was one of those rare moments where you forget to take a photo because you’re too busy trying to take it all in.
What started as a simple pit lane walk turned into one of the most unexpected memories of the weekend, a reminder that some of the most special moments at a Grand Prix happen when you least expect them.
Ferrari Drivers Visit the Paddock Club
Just when we thought it would be a quiet afternoon in the Ferrari Paddock Club, the room suddenly erupted with applause as Lewis Hamilton walked through the doors.
The atmosphere changed instantly.
Ahead of qualifying on Saturday, Hamilton spoke about competing in his first-ever race weekend as a Ferrari driver. I’d spent months watching the headlines about Hamilton joining Ferrari. Standing a few metres away, it suddenly stopped feeling like a news story and became something I was witnessing myself.

Charles Leclerc made his own appearance in the Paddock Club before the Grand Prix. He spoke about returning to racing after the off-season, explaining that while pre-season testing always feels unfamiliar after such a long break, everything quickly becomes second nature once the race weekend begins. But what stayed with me wasn’t what he said, it was how relaxed he seemed only hours before climbing into the car.
Having both Ferrari drivers speak so openly just hours before they returned to the garage made it one of the most memorable experiences of the weekend.
